Octothorp Media is a new business that produces informative and entertaining documentaries on various global issues through the YouTube platform. As the lead designer, I was responsible for all aspects of design, video editing, and special effects. Our goal is to create compelling content that inspires positive change.
This mapping exercise was completed as part of my Bachelor of Design degree which required the abstraction of information from an environmental context. The project involved designing a library, and as a first step, we were tasked with creating abstract graphical representations of the context of a library, neighboring buildings, and the city as a whole. The project was completed during the lockdown in 2020 as part of the Studio Delta subject's first assignment.
As a digital designer for my creative agency, I have had the opportunity to work with Callum Straford, an upcoming comedian based in Melbourne for the Comedy Festival. Over the past year, I have collaborated with him on various graphic design requests including posters, social media posts on Facebook and Instagram, and video editing for his TikTok audience. I am proud to continue our partnership and support Callum in promoting his comedic talent.
